Questions

What do I need?+
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. For hands-free filming, add an Apple DockKit gimbal so the phone turns to follow the ball. Without one, Handheld mode helps you keep the play in frame.
Which gimbals work?+
Any Apple DockKit gimbal. See the compatible gimbals list.
Which sports are supported?+
Soccer and futsal (indoor) today. More sports are on the way.
How does it follow the ball?+
On-device AI finds the ball in every frame and steers the gimbal to keep it in view. It all runs on the phone, so it works at fields with no signal.
How much storage does a game use?+
About 16 GB per hour of 4K video on the phone. You can upload a game to the cloud at 1080p (much smaller) or in original 4K, then free up space on the phone.
Do I need internet at the field?+
No. Recording, tracking, the scoreboard and pairing a second phone all work offline. Uploads and sharing happen when you're back online.
How do I share highlights?+
Export a clip from the phone (with the SportsCam watermark, sized for messaging apps), or send a link. Anyone can watch from the link, and it opens in the app if they have it.
Can players see their own highlights?+
Yes. Coaches add the squad and tag who scored, assisted or saved. Players claim their profile with a link, get their own page and stats, and a notification when they're in new highlights.
Who can see our games?+
Only people on your team, which you invite with a link or code. Share links you create can be opened by anyone who has them.
Is there an Android app?+
Not yet. SportsCam is iPhone only for now, with a web dashboard for watching, editing and stats.
